In 2004, Alan Rogers brought back tournament disc golf to Abilene. He wanted to have a 2 day disc golf tournament to celebrate his birthday (June 26). So he got a "wild hair". He organized and ran the tournament. There were 54 players the first year. The next year, the locals made him do it again. The third year, they made him do it again... but this time he had some help.  It was sanctioned in 2006 and has been ever since.

It's time once again for Abilene's annual sanctioned event and the ADGA is hard at work to make the 10th Annual Wild Hair the biggest and best ever!
